The creation of an outstanding big game trophy requires careful handling from the beginning. Your freshly killed trophy should be kept out of the sun and it should be skinned immediately. The skin should then be frozen or salt dried. Let us know if you need instructions on how to skin an animal, especially if you need help with the more detailed areas such as the ears, nose, lips and eyes.

After the skin is dried, it is professionally tanned to a high quality soft leather. We relax the skin, stretch it and then measure it to determine how big to make the mannequin. The mannequins or forms are made from high density polyurethane foam and are individually sculpted to fit the skin. We also alter the mannequin to create the pose that you request.
